Summary
Ginjiro suddenly gets a call from his mother to take over her small hotel resort business, after his missing elder brother.
The rural and old coal mine hot spring resort area is facing difficulty due to decreasing customers, without much tourist attractions. Most hotel resorts in the area are facing financial difficulties from pricing pressure, triggered by a major hotel player.
Ginjiro, learns from Kyoko, his old friend who happens to be staying at his hotel, that the town is facing a Prisoner's Dilemma and should deviate from the situation.
Using Game Theory ideas, Ginjiro succeeds in persuading the major hotel to stop their low price strategy, and to cooperate in revitalizing the resort area as a whole. He also uses Game Theory ideas to attract and maintain new customers for his hotel and successfully turns around the business.
